Connie Morris
Connie Morris Author. Podcaster. Midwife of the Message. This isn’t branding. This is birthing. You’ve watched the growth. Now you’re witnessing the becoming. I’m Connie Morris—woman of faith, writer of the quiet places, voice of the process. Diary of a Black Woman began as my testimony in fragments… now it stands as a call to the weary, the seeking, and the rising. Here, we don’t fake it. We face it—with God, with each other, and with a boldness that only healing can birth.
I’m not just a messenger. I’m a Midwife of the Message—called to carry revelation, labor in prayer, and help others deliver the purpose inside of them.
In my context: My devotionals are not just teachings—they’re deliveries from the secret place. My livestreams are not performances—they are birthing rooms. My podcast isn’t content—it’s a contraction of purpose, bringing life to what’s been held in silence. I’ve watched God develop the message in me, and now He’s using me to help deliver it in others—clearly, boldly, and unapologetically.
So yes… I am a Midwife of the Message. Helping people carry, birth, and breathe again.
The Devotionals Written in intimacy. Whispered from the secret place. Shared in love—from a woman to women, and anyone willing to lean into what the Spirit is saying. These are open letters from the wilderness, soaked in prayer, and sealed with purpose.

🎙️ Unfiltered. Unapologetic. Spirit-Led. Faith-Centered.
In my writing, rooted in the resilience and spirit that define women, Diary of a Black Woman serves as my sanctuary—a space where personal experiences, spiritual insights, and empowering messages come together to inspire and connect.
I blend educational clarity with the warmth of faith storytelling, creating a style that's akin to a living classroom or a heartfelt chat. My devotionals are born from my dreams, spiritual experiences, and prayer time. My approach is genuine and direct, bringing theological concepts to life through engaging narratives and personal experiences.
I view my writing as an interactive conversation, inviting readers to explore faith with me. With a steady, rhythmic prose, I aim to turn each devotional into a journey that resonates both intellectually and emotionally, connecting divine truths with everyday life. Expect a mix of deep reflection, practical advice, and sometimes, a touch of humor.
I'm excited to guide you through this journey of wisdom, warmth, and wonder.
Warm regards,
Connie Morris
My writing is a blend of wisdom and warmth, much like sitting down with a friend for a heartfelt chat. I imagine us together in a cozy chair, where my words are genuine, direct, and meant to bring comfort. As an educator, I strive to make things clear and precise, but as a faith storyteller, I love weaving in personal experiences that bring the beauty of the narrative to life. My goal is to make theological concepts feel real and relatable, sparking a meaningful dialogue between us. With each piece I write, I hope to take you on a rhythmic journey that feels thoughtful, reassuring, and deeply personal.
This is how the podcast was developed—born out of a desire to extend these conversations, bringing the same blend of wisdom, warmth, and personal connection to a broader audience. Each episode is an invitation to join me in exploring faith, sharing stories, and finding strength together.
Warm regards,
Connie Morris
